Ty Cameron

Ty Cameron is a senior media executive and Hollywood dealmaker with 20 years of experience in sales, content partnerships, business development and brand partnerships, and a proven track record of structuring licensing transactions, production agreements and strategic partnerships.

As President of EBONY Studios, a division of the EBONY Media Group, Mr. Cameron is responsible for the overall company management, operations and strategies, while leading the direction for all film, television, audio, and digital projects.

Prior to joining EBONY, Ty served as Head of Distribution of Uninterrupted, LLC, a sports media company & athlete empowerment brand, where he packaged and licensed original & library content across film, television, audio, and digital platforms.

From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Cameron owned and operated the full-service talent agency The Cameron Talent Agency, where he represented a variety of rising and established talent, including sportscasters, television personalities and various production companies. In addition to running his own firm, for more than 10 years, Ty served as a media sales executive for several national broadcast and cable networks, collaborating with A-list companies and corporate brands, including the CBS Television Network and BET Networks.

Mr. Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Cameron also serves as a mentor for Good City Mentors, an organization that empowers youth through school-day mentoring.

A member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Cameron currently resides in Marina Del Rey, CA.
